Refund Policy
What is refundable, what is not, and how to ask. Short version: you never pay for a panel that did not finish.
01 The principle
A run consumes real compute the moment it starts, so consumed runs are not automatically refundable. But we would rather refund an unhappy user than argue with one. If a report did not do its job, tell us what happened and we will make it right. Refunds are made by GrantPanel LLC, which operates GrantPanel, to the payment method used for the purchase.
02 Unused proposals
A purchased proposal that has never been run is fully refundable within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked, including the sales tax paid on it. Email hello@grantpanel.ai from the account address. Proposals granted free of charge, such as through an invite code, carry no refund.
03 Failed and incomplete runs
If a run fails before delivering its report, whatever stage it reached, it is not counted against your proposal: the run is returned to you automatically, and you can start again when you are ready. You are emailed when this happens.
04 Reports that fall short
If the panel misread your proposal, missed a section, or returned findings that do not correspond to what you submitted, write to us within 14 days with the documents you sent and the report you received. We will read both. Where the complaint holds, we refund or credit the run at your choice.
05 What is not refundable
We cannot refund based on the funding decision. A rejected proposal does not mean the review was wrong, and a funded one does not mean it was right. GrantPanel reports on the draft in front of it and makes no claim about outcomes.
06 How to request
Email hello@grantpanel.ai with your account address and the run identifier from the report header. We respond within three business days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.
07 Institutional purchases
Volume and departmental purchases follow the terms of the purchase order or written agreement, which controls where it differs from this page.
